Can Veiled Chameleons eat male bee larvae?

I love changing my lizards (I own two different types; a veiled chameleon and leopard gecko) diet so that they get a variety of different things in their diets. I know that they can eat wax worms, but wonder if male bee larvae would be a healthy treat. There are several beekeepers near where I live.

Its defenitly nutritious and non poisonous (im a licensed beekeeper myself) but the thing is that your cham is likely to not recognize it as food. Since they die immediately after taken out of the cells. And if you managed to keep them alive. They dont really move. I do feed my panther some male honeybees from time to time. Since those dont have stingers and are of no use to the hives (except for the one time sex they have in their live. But yeah. There are plenty anyways)
