I have fed them to Stark but he dosent eat many fruits or veggies
Ok thank you!! I will peal off the skin if I give him someYes but I don't think they can eat the skin because it may get stuck inside their mouth
New What about using grapes as part of the gutload?
Is any color grape okay?I add green grapes to my Dubia gutload at least once a week because I always have grapes in my house. Grapes are pretty healthy, so you are passing those nutrients on to your chameleon when you use grapes as part of a wet gutload.
Is any color grape okay?
I gave one to my Cham today and he loved it!! Definatlly a new snack for him!!I have a friend here in the Tampa Bay area who's female veiled loves 1/4'd grapes. takes them right out of her fingers very gently.
This info is old you should not feed to your chameleon they are insectivores not omnivores I’ll link so more people so you will have more people back the info upTried today and my Veiled Chameleon loved them
Fruit in particular is really not recommended. It is loaded with sugars that their bodies do not process correctly. If a Veiled has the proper Veiled tested live plants then they will nibble as they see fit. It is believe they eat vegetation for roughage to aid in digestion. So we do not actually offer them fruits or veg. Properly gutloaded live insects are what they should be given as they are insectivores.Tried today and my Veiled Chameleon loved them
