I have 27 very special fourth graders who I have had the honor of teaching this year. These kids were motivated by 2 things this year... 1) I told them we were training to become ninjas and 2) Fuego, the classroom chameleon. Some of them were not very good at reading or writing, but because they wanted to learn about chameleons, almost all of them are reading at benchmark. So please, will you watch the video they made? They worked REALLY hard on this, and they feel really good when they check the number of views they have and where the views are coming from. If you never, ever respond to or view anything else I ever post, that's ok, but will you please watch this? Thank you so much.

Wow. Looks like a great clip Is there a legit movie or was that the only clip? Because it's pretty entertaining.

I think the most impressive thing about it was seeing a 4th grade girl handling a dubia roach! My 11 year old granddaughter won't be in the cham room when the lid is off the dubia bin. Really great video!

Hell, I'm 23 and I still won't touch the roaches! lol Great class you have, and you are such a great teacher. Most of mine wouldn't get us excited about anything. I commented on how great the video is!

I hope you don't mind, but I shared it with a yahoo group that's totally not "chameleon" but also totally supportive of fun people doing interesting things....and so far one of them has put it on her facebook page, so hopefully that will help crank up the views/comments.
