I have 15 baby Nosy Mitsio and 25 baby Nosy Be panther chameleons, and I have no idea how to price them.

All the resources I can find show Nosy Be as 200$ at the cheapest, and often $250 for males, $150 for females.

Nosy Mitsio are rare in Canada, and go for $350 females and $450 males.

How does everyone work out their pricing, discounts, and when does age and coloration factor into the asking price?

There isn't as big of a market in Canada, so is a cheaper price warranted?

Thanks for any advice.

I think what you're asking is fair. The Misito local is rarely offered in the states, but prices are similar to what you're asking.

Being in Canada, you might have a hard time selling female Mistios as well as male Nosy Be at that price. That's just my opinion.

It's nice to see Misitos being bred here, though :D

Edit: I will also add that is is very expensive to raise chameleons and you'll be lucky if you make a couple hundred, particularly if you're buying your feeders.

no problem $250 for a Nosy Be male, and if you're not needing quick sales you may get $300. Indeed I can refer a couple potential buyers to you, especially if you will ship to Alberta. PM me if you are interested in the referrals. Males of 6 months - 1 year (and thus showing good colour) will fetch a much better price than at 3 months - its worth the wait if you have the space.
$100 for females if you want them to sell fairly quickly, and thus will sell as pets rather than to breeders. People who buy just as pets dont care about lineage and pure breeding, so are often more interested in a deal than the quality and breeding of the animal. I successfully sell cross females at $80 - $120.

I agree with this pricing. Although you may have to let a few females go for less if you are in a hurry to sell (and thus are selling to "regular" people rather than breeders).

I give discounts for people who buy multiples, if I like the people and if I need the space :)

Your pricing sounds fair. I don't think you should go too low, because you might get people that have a few bucks to get something "cool", without appreciating the animal (hope that makes sense). I guess you'll be screening people, so you might not run into that problem.
There are some panthers here for sale and they're going for $300 for males and $200 for females, which I thought was fair. The locale has slipped my mind, but I'll edit the post when I think of it. I do know that they are a more common locale than what you have.

*They are ambilobes.
