Faire season starts in a couple weeks so on the weekends I camp out for a couple nights and I was wondering if I feed her on Friday and put extra crickets and worms in the feeder cup would that be sufficient until I get back on Sunday morning.

You don't need to even put in extra.....

I'd like to see a study relating feeding to occurrences of gout. If there is higher risk when animal is fed daily.

How old is your female? I don't feed any of my adults daily. I feed every other day. Females do better when they are not overfed, including decreased production of infertile eggs. As long as she has a continuous supply of water such as an automatic mister or dripper she will be fine.

I'm also doing every other day, no problem. (adult) I'm pretty sure they could go a while without. Definitely a day.

She is about 5 months old. She has an automatic mister and all the lights and mister are on an automatic timer that comes on at 5am and turns off at 5pm.

It should be fine as long she is feeding well before u leave,if possible you can always have someone u can trust just to check up on her.

She eats really well so I know shed eat all of them within 2 days. Its just that I will have all the people I trust with me so there wouldn't be anyone else to feed her if I'm not there. But I'll only be gone for a day and a half.

A day and a half is not an issue at all. Give her a good feed before you leave and all will be well. Technically, if you feed her right before you leave, and you're only gone a day an a half, she will only go without food for a little over half a day.......so no biggie!!

Hydration is the biggest concern, and since you have that situation automated, have fun camping!!
