cant find ficus :(

I went to my local home depot and they only have the gynormous sized ficus. Lowes doesn't have any. I really don't want to buy from LLL and pay $10 shipping and spend $30 for just 2 plants. So frustrating

have you tried walmart or any of the forum site sponsors? a lot of the site sponsors sell cham supplies, some of them might also sell some plants, im not positive but its worth a try

Get the monster ficus and set your cage up over the top of the ficus. I trimmed the ficus a bit put it inside the cage 2x2x3. Then I made a bottom out of wood to go around the tree then covered the wood with contact paper. Added a few branches and it was ready to go. My Cham loved it. But the bottom didn't fit tight so I had to cup feed.

Find a green house, if you don't know of any ask a local florist, either private owned or those in grocery stores because I bet those folks would know of a green house where you can find one.
I run a garden centre at my grocery store, and over the years you just get to know where they are.

I got my ficus from tiki tiki. That was the most amazing ficus i had ever bought. It had grown over 6 inches since i have had it. quality right there.

Well, I found 2 nice umbrella trees and a pothos...but no ficus. I'm worried about how much water my plants will receive due to the frequent mistings. How do you all deal with that?

You'll have to set up a drainage system under your cage.if its a screen bottom just raise the cage and stick a large tub underneath that will do the job fine.I'm sure if you search the forum you'll find more elaborate or attractive looking ideas
