Whenever I try to get my 3 month nosy be out he like takes of in the other direction and has taken a little stumble before But luckily caught himself. I have had him just under 2 weeks. Any tips on getting him out?

Give him time. He is still adjusting to his new world. First let him have lots and lots of time. Then when he gets comfortable, slowly start teaching him to hand feed. From there you work up to trying to get him to come out of the cage. You will want to use a stick the first few times. After that we will go further.

I started by hand feeding. Then I would leave his cage open and let him make his way out on to a tree that I put outside of it on a chair. Once he was comfortable w coming out on his own it was so much easier. Now I just open the door and wait for him to come out on to the top then I gently put my hand under him and pick him up.

It takes time and real patience to do it right.

That depends on the Cham. I have had it take 4 weeks and with one it took me almost 5 months. Each Cham is different, you work with what you have and go on the chams schedule.
