Carla Cham is in the Hospital

I too am very sorry to hear this sad news. At least you can take comfort in the fact you did your very best to save her.
I used to keep several chameleons at once but got devastated when each one died. It doesn't get any easier for me so I know how you feel (I just have the one now - a panther).
May she rest in peace.

Juli,

You know I am thinking about you.
It sucks to lose her so early ... but look at all the people she made happy and all the good homes her children went to.
Circle of life.

So sorry to read about this...

I was just thinking... Was Carla a Veiled? Does it seem that Veileds get sick more often than others?

Or it just seems that way?

Again, it is very sad news.

Roberto.

No.
But veileds are probably more likely to be kept by people who don't know what they are doing.
This is not the case with Juli, however.

I am so sorry, I'm sure u will take pride in getting the joy of this thread to watch her children grow and flourish. Our thoughts and prayers are with u both!!

Oh man... Sorry to hear about this Juli. It really is a tough thing losing them because we put so much into their care. I will send Lombardi's condolences for him as well. She was a pretty girl.

I cannot tell you enough how much all of the support means to me. I could go into work, and the average person would think, "Oh-your lizard died-big deal."--But all of you truly understand what it means to lose them.

Having this forum and all of the friends that share this common "chameleon addiction" just make the entire hobby/passion a much, much better experience.

A big THANKS to you all! :)

sorry for your loss juli, she was a gorgeous girl, its so heartbreaking when you lose a pet youve looked after and cared for so much.
