Carpet chameleon care

I just recently bought a carpet chameleon a few days ago. And I could use some tips or pointers on this species since this is my first one. He's pretty young and still really small. He stay mostly brown/black throughout the day. But today was the first time he colored up and that was when I took him out side. The picture below is when I first put him in his new cage
