Carpet responsive colors

I have a female carpet and she already laid a clutch of infertile eggs, but how do I know when she is ready for a male? How are her responsive colors?

When did she lay? After about 10 days just start introducing them. You cannot rely on coloration alone with carpets. Instead, gauge her reaction. If she's receptive, it will be obvious when the male approaches her. Just be ready to take her out if she is not receptive, because she will not hesitate to bite him
