My panther would eat veggies. I asked the question when I first became a memeber and I got the answer of your chameleon is only insectevorous (sp). I didnt think it would hurt but I took Brads advice anyway. Maybe I will start feeding veggies.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! The carrots are raw, I hold them while he chews on them so he just does not swallow them whole. He is like a little puppy LOL

BTW, the female I got from you is doing GREAT - she is not shy at all and eats supers from my hand. I named her Mona Lisa.

No veggies for Thaxter (though I've never tried offering him carrots...). I'd heard that panthers will sometimes take edible flowers; he said "no, thanks". One day he gave some serious contemplation to my shredded wheat and was just stopped from helping himself (I thought it would be a little dry and scratchy for him), and another day my husband observed him sizing up my Asian noodles; again, he didn't get the chance to try them.

I thought that chams couldnt process beta carotene and thats why we needed crickets? Correct me if im wrong though cuz i couldnt find the article.
