Casque Burn

My veiled cham had a small burn on his casque. It's been a little over two weeks since he got it, and nothing seems that improved. His light is moved and the vine that he can use to bask is about 6" away now. I have Silver Sulfadiazine to apply to his casque, will this be sufficient in encouraging healing? Or is something else recommended? Thank you guys!

It looks alot better IMO. The black is almost gone, and the casque is filling out again, it looked all sunkemnin in the before pics.

I think it looks better too, but I doubt it will heal all the way in fact he will probably lose a part of it. Good luck to you both.

It doesn't look that bad to me. Keep applying the Silver Sulfadiazine twice a day and hope for the best.

I think that burn has improved quite a bit. You're doing a great job. There's lots of times on here where the entire top of their casque gets burnt and falls off but this isn't even close to one of those. Keep doing what you're doing and he'll make a great recovery. It won't go back completely normal but the damage shouldnt be too significant Imo. Best of luck! :)

Thank you guys! I've noticed something else that's worrying me. It varies with his color changes, but I can still see the difference.
