Cats and Panthers?

Rogue...thanks for coming forward...I think it's important for people to realize what a cat can do. It's their nature to hunt and when something moves they usually react....just as nature has directed them to.

Rogue...I'm so sorry that you had the experience you did with yours.

@Nursemaia hahaha well in your case it's cause he's pissed at the dog, literally... lol...

But anyway rogue your situation is terrible, but a feral? Kitten is going to be much different than an indoor cat. There's posts on here of dogs attacking chams, but other experienced members who trust their dogs. Depends on the cat imo

First, thank you @kinyonga. It was and still is a hard pill to swallow, but I really hope my experience can save another cham's life. If so, then coming forward is worth it.

@jamest0o0, we honestly don't know about Loki. We adopted him earlier this year from a local shelter. However, we have seen behaviors in him that could indicate some feral tendancies. We adopted him at just 4 months old and he caught our attention because he was the only cat interested in playtime with strange humans. All of the other cats were curled in terror (they had a loud, barking dog nearby in another cage at the event). Loki has never met a stranger. We think he was found at a very young age but may have experienced some abuse because his tail is "z" shaped from being broken in two places and untreated. He is very playful but we noticed once he is fixated on a target, (toy, animal, bug, etc.) NOTHING will stop or distract him. His eyes dilate and go solid black. He once sat in water (and he hates water) to attack a cricket that got loose. Not knowing the history of animals that are adopted from shelters is the only drawback. He is an ass, but we love him.
