Cause of Death

My wife works at a local pet store and is going to take the veiled in to see if they will do the necropsy. I will post their findings as soon as I receive them. Once again thanks for all the help in trying to figure out what might have happend. This was my first chameleon and will by no means be my last. Like i said before I want to try and not make a mistake in the well being of the life of any animal. So that is why I am looking for what might have caused this to see if I am to blame. P.S. his name was Claude, there were a couple pics in another post of mine earlier.

Its nice to hear that you are not giving up on owning Chameleons! I've only had mine for a few months but I honestly don't know what I did before I had them :| They really are fun "pets" and its always nice to see people not giving up on them

Wife just got home from work and the results are that the chameleon had a larger cricket stuck in his airway causing suffocation. Her store was very generious in the fact that they replaced the one I lost with another one. This new one is about 3 times as big as claude was so the larger crickets should not be a problem. Thanks again for all the help in trying to help me understand what happend. It was a terrible mistake on my part not noticeing the larger crickets
