CB Melleri Egg Update

Not sure. Incubation is/has been 3 months as of tomorrow so maybe another month or two at the latest......I hope.

Mellers incubation is that short? How long is the gestation period?

Hope to see some more captive melleri running around soon!!!:D

It's all stated here: https://www.chameleonforums.com/update-melleri-eggs-38019/ or you can read more about the gestation and incubation in the Melleri Discovery. But basically 1-3 months gestation and 3-5 months incubation (based on known and reported clutches). Kind of hard to believe because they are so big, huh?

Me too! :D (but I'm going to need quite a bit of food ..... plus I am expecting a trans. veiled clutch at the same time.)

So what do you feed the newborns? I can make a donation :D

The babies will be just like any of my other newborns. Fruit flies!! (and then depending on how soon they can take pins (i.e. how big they are), I'll be giving them pins.... )

I have Chicago Dart Frog on notice already.... :D

Thanks you guys! I very much appreciate the offers for help but right now I'm just concentrating on getting them to hatch. I'm pretty sure all of you will know when they are born (you will hear me screaming from where you are ) and if I need any help. :D

Julie I jumped on here hoping you were going to say they were hatching:( it's ok I still have all my body parts crossed for you. I hope they get with it, it is really hard to do anything with my body all twisted;):)

These eggs are getting ginormous! While I don't have a picture to offer, I did accidentally leave the quarter in one of the containers the last time I took a picture and most of them are bigger than the quarter!

AND one of them was either sweating or oozing this morning, so I will keep you apprised. :)
