Ive reading conflict of opinions.

I read on the resource page that the CFL reptisun is suggested but it seems like the recent posts suggest t5s.

Theres a video online by Jay Sick. He said CFL are horrible.

Well I have a CFL right now in a 2x2x4 enclosure. Am i Ok?

CFL bulbs give only a little spot of coverage while T5 linear bulbs give a broader coverage. My preference is the T5 and that's what I use.

A regular fluorescent is better than a CFL. They give out more UVB and they give it out over a much larger area. LED lights do not give out UVB.

Would the CFL be sufficent for the time being as i save up for the t5? It might be a few months.

Yes. They are designed as such. The should be replaced about every 6 months. The T8 and T5 tubes yield better distribution of UVB, so they are better to use.
