Ch. africanus...project.

Hmmm..
Kinda torn here.

I'm a big environment and an animal lover.
I volunteer for wildlife surveys and creek clean ups.
Been doing that for years.

The surveys that I help with are pretty cool actually.
We count and document steelhead, salmon, otters beavers, their habitat, their nests and even look at scat to see their diet.
I really feel like I help.
Nothing in creek clean up or surveying is gonna happen soon but we could use some help later on during the run if any body local to me is interested.

For the most part, I do not want it here if it ain't from here and saying that
they need no extra protection to me would be very polite.
That being said I know of mustangs herds in Nevada, parrot flocks in northern California.
I'm torn because I could never harm a mustang or a parrot but let me see a domestic rat,Russian strain pig or even a Main lobster an" it's on", and yes some stupid f's release Main lobsters into our environment.
If it is not from here I don't want it here

Chris said..."If they truly are not causing any harm, it may be that C. africanus is not worth removing in an effort to protect the habitat"...and in some cases they may be helping...for instance, if they are eating insects there that are destroying the habitat...and in that case why not help/protect them?
