Here is some pictures of my 1.2 Ch roperi in different colours.(though I posted this on an other forum (www.kamaeleoner.dk/forum) I would like too share with you too)
The pictures are not in the national geographic standard but it is only so you can see the different colours

they are allso from the same complex (the dilepis complex)...

and yes chamaeleo species are amazing

dilepis subspecies?

I know this is an old thread, but wow, those pictures are great and really fascinating.
What I'm wondering is, is there a way to tell which subspecies of dilepis you're getting, say in case all you're told from the dealer is "flap neck", so that you can tailor the husbandry more appropriately if you can find out that species natural habitat conditions?

Great Photos! Its a shame so few people work with Chamaeleo. There are ways to tell the difference. Some have spurs, some dont, size and length of the occipital lobes etc etc. Im no expert though. I think there may be a article on Dilepis on Chameleonnews.com.
