I just wish I knew what was wrong so we could have maybe done something differently. Everyone says that we did all we could. He was wild caught and sick when the owners of the store got him. We took a huge risk getting him, but I am happy that we were able to give him a good home up until this point.

I get that and sometime there is not an answer .

Sorry for your loss. Sometimes there is nothing we can do fast enough to help.
The only chance you had of finding out what happened was an autopsy...and that can be expensive.
