Chamaeleo africanus hatchlings

Hey guys. Just ran across some pics from back in 2012 when I was working with africanus. Figured everyone would enjoy them.

Wow very cool thank you for sharing! I love when the little ones hatch with patterns already, so neat to see all those spots :)

Thank you everyone. I hope I get a chance to work with them again, I hatched a total of 50 of the 50 laid. Hopefully I will have the same luck with my bifidus eggs. Thanks again!

What happen to all the africanus babies? I remember a few years ago several keepers were all hatching africanus babies but I never see anyone with an africanus now.

Jann,

CalZoo approched me and offered me a decent price for all 50 and that is where mine went. I honestly do not know about the others, it does seem strange that no one has any africanus now. It is also worth mentioning I never saw CalZoo list any of the babies I sold them for sale which I thought was odd.

They are a species I wish would come in again so I could work with them. Unfortunately, I don't think there is much demand for them so I don't think there will be anyone seriously working with them anytime soon even if they did come in
