Chameleon always greyish green

my chameleon seems to always be a greyish green color when she is in her cage. When I let her out she turns a more vibrant green. She eats and drinks just fine. Does she look ok?

She looks fine, but you need to add a ton more foliage. Put a few umbrella plants or ficus in there. You should have a hard time finding her when you look in. It’s makes them more comfortable when they can hide.

I agree with the above. Get Live plants. Pothos, umbrella, or ficus plants will be great. Your local nursery should have some or Lowe's will have them. They aren't expensive at all. Make sure you have good drainage for them :)

Is her basking light red? It may just be the picture tricking my eyes, but if it is you should replace it with a regular incandescent bulb

Do you have a UVB light? As already stated, please get rid of the red light and replace with a white incandescent house bulb for basking. Your cage will look nice when you fill it up with foliage.
