She was a little over 3 yrs. old. She ate a rock from one of the plants in her enclosure, which caused an impaction. The day I discovered her not eating, I made an appointment with the vet for the following day. But the following morning, she was gone.
Terrible mistake on my part. I covered the dirt in her potted plants with pebbles, to keep her from eating the dirt. I didn't think she'd try eating these - I really thought were too big to be interesting to her. Lesson learned. All the rocks in Finn's cage now are bigger than his head.
Those are amazing pictures!! I love seeing them!! They are SO darn cute together!! I totally agree with @Scottsquatch ^^^ There seems to always be at least one "odd couple" that just shouldn't be together but are friends anyway!!
I'm actually not surprised that a chameleon wouldn't eat a frog verses something like an anole. Wouldn't some frogs in their habitat be possibly toxic? Or perhaps the slimminess maybe just gross them out?
