Chameleon color

Just bought this guy a couple days ago wondering if this is just a different type of color ??? While he is at top of cage he is this color when basking but when at bottom of cage he turns light green

they will turn a darker color to absorb the heat better.... nothing to worry about

Yeah he looks the same way as mine when she is up basking in the light and then the colour starts to come out when u take them out

Yeah even the hands are kinda dark like mine

Yup perfectly normal, he wants to be warm while basking, so he turns a darker color .

Yeah mine always goes bright green when sleeping and taking them out and they show there colour a lot !

Lol yeah mine wake up somtimes but they will get use to it I go in there room somtimes at night to get things and take a peek at them

Haha he's adorable. My 3 month old also turns bright green when he's sleeping, Its his peaceful color .

What everyone else said. You might look at my pic in the forums to get an idea of a sleeping chams colors, but for basking, the veileds will be darker, as they are absorbing the heat.

Indeed! The pic is of my little Lucky that isn't so little anymore. At 1 yr, 1 mo. he's quite large now and is quite a character amongst all the animals here at the house,
