Chameleon Colors

Hello, some of you may recognize me from earlier when i posted should I get a Veiled or Panther chameleon. Well I ordered a panther and he arrived today, he is 3 months old and I'm curious when will he get his color? Hes pretty dull right now but i am seeing a bit of color.

The fun part is watching them "color up" after each shed. He will be showing you more/different colors in a week!

There he is when i first got him into the cage.
I got him from Chamalot Chameleons and he is 3 months old.

By 6 months old you'll notice a big change. Some take longer or less to start getting colorful but I think by 6 months you'll definitely see him changed!

Most chameleons that age look just like that. Not to worry after a few sheds you will see him start to fire up.

You are both going to be so happy with your new chamie babies!!! Its going to be fun to watch them grow together. Dez takes wonderful care of the babies and they are already off to a great start in life
