I ordered a month ago from Chameleon Company. When inquiring about the specimen, the company was very prompt. But since I sent a payment there has been no response to my email.

Is this normal?
 
Well the no communication part is not normal. If there are weather or other issues preventing shipping, it could be legit. I had to wait several weeks for my Cham, but I have great communication with teh seller (Canvas Chameleons)
 
just to be clear. before I bought the chameleon he told me that it'll be 4-6 weeks before he can ship.

The problem is he has not replied my email since I bought it.

I hope it's an oversight or some other legit reason. Are they a big company? Perhaps you are more like a number to them and now that they have your money they don't have the time spend with you as they are on to the next sale? That would be unfortunate. If I found their website, it looks like a large operation that ships a lot of animals.

Jims a good guy, he's probably out of town. I've talked to him on the phone many times and purchased many chameleons from him. I wouldn't be worried just send him another email asking where you stand.
 
Jim is an honest person and runs a legit business. If you're worried about what is going on, you should call him, he generally answers his phone, unless he's out of town. I have had many transactions with him over 20 years, everything went well.
 
I am have the exact same problem i ordered my pair over 1month ago they were promt and told me they would contact me at end of the month and they never did so i emailed 3 times and called and left messages no response im thinking of getting my money back all thet was asked was an update
 
Maybe jim is out of town cause i have started leaving messages 0n the 27th of last month and still had no answer i tried contacting 4-5 times through email and phone calls
 
Is Jim the only employee of this outfit? Two people saying the same thing.... Even if Jim was away for what ever reason, one would think that he's not the only employee who can answer an email or get back to customers. Right? :oops:
 
Hello, I am new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone has received any communications recently from The Chameleon Company. I had been in regular contact with Jim(he was responsive to emails) until the end of last year. We were discussing when to ship my Chameleon in between various snow storms and suddenly I stopped receiving replies. I have also left VM with no response? Is this normal if he is traveling?

We currently have a rule against members using the public forums to resolve commercial disputes. Please keep that in mind when posting.

I read above that some people have left voice messages.

Yes i have many time his voice mail is full now so cant leave any more messages also sent many emails and posted on their facebook page still no reply
