why is my chameleon dark while. Basking he had done it ever since ive got him and soon as he leaves his spot he changes to a light green.

This is normal behavior for chameleons.

Or notice the "light arm shadow" when they finally move.wait till you notice (s)he's dark on one side and light on the other (still trying to get a good picture of this)
the light arm shadows are my favorite because it looks like they got a patchy tan and then i imagine chameleon rednecksOr notice the "light arm shadow" when they finally move.
