Chameleon egg bound

Hello, my veiled chameleon is we think 1 year and 4 months old and we aren’t sure weather she is going to lay her eggs or not, she doesn’t look fat but she does have to lumps either side of the base of her tail that have been there for a couple weeks and she hasn’t been eating for a few days. We have a laying bin in there for her and so yesterday we caught her in the laying bin digging. Today she is digging aswell . We have placed a towel over her vivarium do that she doesn’t get interrupted. If anyone can give any advise or if she is egboumd that would be great

If she was digging put her back, leave her alone. She's trying to do her thing and your preventing her from doing that.

Here's how it should go...
She may dig several test holes or just one but should settle on one in the end. She should dig it until she's happy...might be a day or more...then, usually in the evening, she should turn around butt down in the hole and lay her eggs. It might take a while and she might even stay in the hole overnight. She should lay the eggs, fill the hole in and tamp it down and return to the branches hungry, thirsty and thin. While she's digging don't let her see you watching her.

If it doesn't go like this, then post on here again right away.
