Chameleon Enclosures

I thought this would be a fun, good idea. I wanted to start a thread of various photo's of the enclosures we set up for our beloved chameleons. If you would like to share pictures of the cages you have set up, please feel free to share.

I'm hoping the plants will stat to grow a little more but I'm thining of just buying another vine type plant thats ready pretty big. I'm just playin around with it havent got it 100% how I want it yet, but its a great first try.

mmm thats what she said

I have more of the base on another thread and it wont let me repost the pic for some reason. Gotta figure that one out. But my dad and I built the base one afternoon and I put a few coats of stain and varnish on it to make it look real pretty. The next goal is to make a cage to sit on it with the same color scheme

Here are pictures of right when I put in the Japanese Aralia. I love it, though about a 1/3 of it died thats under the basking light. the left side and middle are fine. Does anyone know how to make it grow in those hotter conditions? I am expecting a mistking in 4 days which should water a lot more. would that help?

but as for the cage itself, I made it with my architecture student. it's 2'x2'x4' plus the base is something like 26''x26''x2.5'. There is a tarp underneath the cage to watch the water (which is also under screen netting), which then has a hole to where the water drips into a bucket.

It's not quite done... he got really busy with school (damn architect majors) and havent finished the stain, or the shelf and door for the base. But it is in 100% functional condition for Reptar.
