Chameleon Enclosures

I thought this would be a fun, good idea. I wanted to start a thread of various photo's of the enclosures we set up for our beloved chameleons. If you would like to share pictures of the cages you have set up, please feel free to share.

What is the size of this enclosure.

i love your setup! what is in all of your cages shown in your pictures starting from left to right?

thanks man, left: just a custom fake rock and live planted terrarium i made. 1st tall cage: K. Tuberculata, center 1nd tall cage: C. Calyptratus, right top 1st: female Rh. Ciliatus (crested gecko) top 2nd: male Rh. Ciliatus, Bottom: R. Brevicadatus. i do have 2 more spare cages, and some 12x30'' glass plates that i could make into a tank, so we'll see what happens in the distant future

i thought the one on the far left was probably inhabited by perhaps a red eyed tree frog! gotta get something in there its too pretty to be left uninhabited!!
oh thats amazing such a great diversity, im thinking of getting a tortoise friend for goonie and possibly a Chinese water dragon.

its only a 7g hex and half of it is used up by fake rock. i was going to go with a firebelly frog or a newt of some sort, but it is just to small of an enclosure for either and no flat land. i will be constructing a different one soon enough. thanks though for your compliments! water dragons are awsome

I'm growing some plants to put in the cage, and in the meantime the ones Napoleon has are fake. When I move I'm hoping to freerange him most if not all of the time, but for now that isn't an option. He has a schefflera (lovingly named Elba) that he overnights on outside the cage.

For the current setup, I started off with a shelving unit I already had, which provides a lot of horizontal bars to hold onto. I wove fake bamboo into it, which both provides vertical climbing space and helps prevent him from falling all the way to the bottom if he were to lose his grip. I came up with this idea because of my fear that the still-small Napoleon would fall in the large cage and break his bones.

I wrapped a few vines of varying sizes around parts of the shelving and around each other so that they would hold each other up under Napoleon's weight. I included a couple of thick fake ferns on one side of the top shelf in order to provide shade if he were to need it. :)

Since the time that I took these pictures, the spider plant has been removed and the basking light has been placed directly on the top of the cage.
