Chameleon Feces

If I am posting in the wrong area I apologize, please redirect me.
I cant believe I am even writing this..

The past 2 days our VC (about 6 months) has has feces that look different and the smell is over powering. Not that it should smell great but it has never been this bad or looked like this.

The feces appears yellowish and jello-like. Once again, the smell is over powering as well.

Usually the feces is the normal brown with the usual yellow/white part attached.
This started after he had about 8 very small wax worms 2 days ago. He has had these before but never over fed due to the high fat content.

Thank you in advance for any advice..

Hey,

Don't worry! This is not a weird question! BUT STILL, the smell can vary.... not to get to gross but I am sure you have had a sitting that did not smell so great compared to some others, That yellow part of the feces should be almost ALL white... If it is yellow that is a sign of dehydration, If your chameleon is well watered, then ignore my previous statement. If you still are worried check out this page for diseases and treating them:

gelatinous or smelly feces should be considered a giant red flag.
imo i would repost with your help form in its entirety. jmo

Smelly poop can be a big indicator of parasites. I would have a fecal checked out at the vet to rule it out.

I agree, smelly poop is a big red flag. Even if you don't have a reptile vet yet (get one!) many vets will agree to run fecal tests for a minimal charge and, with research, should be able to prescribe the right medication. You might want to run the medication by the experts here, just because there's so much experience here.
