Should get T5 HO lighting. Arcadia bulbs are really good. Glad i started using them and most people in here will tell you the same. Those cfl bulbs dont work as good. And dont give your chameleon enough uvb they need compared to lunar bulbs do.

You can get by a week. But i would change it as soon as you can because they dont but out as much. T8 is better for now but change it to a T5. lightyourreptile.com is a good place to get them. And after people in here suggested them. The owner todd was very helpful on any questions i had. Highly suggest them.

T5 High output is your best option. Lightyourreptiles.com has great fixtures and the arcadia UVB bulbs are top notch.

T8 is what you should use over the dual fixture if you cant get a T5 yet.

Always want to go with a linear tube bulb for UVB. the coil (Compact florescent) UVB bulbs do not spread the UVB throughout the cage.

I have primarily kept tortoises for the last 40 years or so (Redfoot) And over the years there has been a discovery over in the TORTOISEFORUM.ORG that those coiled, compact florescent bulbs have caused eye issues. Even blindness.
It's rare to go a week without a new member joining with a tortoise that won't open its eyes or wiping at its red eyes and they have purchased at the pet shops recommendation one of these CFL bulbs. The symptoms often go away fairly quickly after swapping over to a strip florescent. In the case of a Redfooted tortoise, a "5.0"
I'm not surprised to read that they also are not good for Chameleons.
Even with the fixtures much further away in application.
