My chameleon only gets really bright at night. Throughout the day he isn't very dark he just doesn't look like he has much of color I see at night. His poop and urates are fine. He eats well, and is very active. I am hoping this is normal. Ill try to provide a picture as soon as I can. The second photo he wasn't happy I was in his enclosure and he doesn't like the camera too much.

Spartan,

Welcome to the forums. Yes, your little one will "lighten up" at night while he/she is sleeping. I saw a great response from one of the senior keepers a while back that explained why they do this. You might do a search. As for his dark color during the day, my veiled Lucky stays fairly dark when relaxed in his enclosure. Post a picture and let us know your husbandry practices. Here's a link as to how to ask for help.

Cut and paste this filled out and add a few pics, it makes it very easy for an experienced keeper to make an educated guess as to what you may tweak to adjust your husbandry and get your cham on track.

Here's the one of him sleeping but I'm still trying to get the other one

Yes indeed their pajama color are usually the brightest color,I guess no stress occurred during their sleep:)
Ugh...this is my first night owning a chameleon, so they should be brighter at night? Because mine is almost completely white! Is this bad?

Watch this for the next few nights. I suspect you'll see this change every night. Its normal.

My panther is similar, but completely different colors at night.
