Chameleon Owner for 2 months, a few questions/tips needed

I just wasn't aware females could lay eggs without a male, the petco employee said they were fine with the essentials that i have. I came on the forum page to be educated and seek help not to be insulted
Yep, they lay infertile eggs, wich means they cant hatch, but she still needs to lay them.

don't worry it's not your fault, pet stores give awful information. it's just frustrating to some members that people go into cham keeping without research (mostly from big box pet stores) and they don't know how else to get the point across.

Also, just wondering, in the first pic you posted, whats that coconut husk looking stuff? I would take that out.

they're adorable girls! the dark pattern is from stress, could very well be the other female stressing it out, but it could be multiple other reasons
This is the larger female and she displays more brown/orange color and a light green while the other is a darker blue green and no orange/brown

Sorry if i came across rude, i wasnt trying to be.

Was she shedding too? Gravid and shedding? Bad day for her.
yep. she also had slight mbd from the pet store we bought her from (this pet store luckily had an experienced cham keeper as he manager and they had a mistking calcium without d3 uvb and basking bulb etc and that's the only reason we even considered buying from a pet store) but the mbd was from a previous owner that returned her because she wasn't very friendly. (some people think chams are like dogs) but it was so slight and no breaks so that's good
