Chameleon pattern/stripes

Hey there everyone, I just recently got a male veiled chameleon(yes he has little Spurs/nubs on his hind legs), I'm unsure how old he is, he's about 3-4 inches long not entirely sure. Most of the time he is green and seems to be doing alright however I've noticed occasionally he will get these faint black stripes along his back, I refer to them as his tiger stripes, and I can't seem to figure out what they are, whether he's stressed or it's just a pattern that he will show when he gets older. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also he tends to get stressed whenever I open his enclosure to put food in, is this normal or should I be worried?

Pics would help as far as color or patterns go. If he's as small as you said I'm sure he's just showing some of what he might look like when he grows up. Mine has shown so many different colors and patterns throughout his short lifespan it's not even funny. Also veileds are a$$holes most of the time. Sure there are some nice/friendly ones out there but they are few and far between. Once he gets associated with your hand = food he will stop being such an A-Hole... About your hand feeding him that is lol

He's sleeping right now and I dare not disturb him but based on those pictures I'd say he's about3-4 months showing a similar pattern to your 4 months picture just a lot more faded

And my ages were guessed. I had no idea of hatch date. I went off what I thought he looked like compared to other known aged males patterns and size.

I like how this image also shows the progression of the quality of your camera

View attachment 229712 these are his tiger stripes I referred too. Also he's has a piece of she'd stuck to his eye but it won't seem to come off, I've been misting a little more than usual to try to help it come off, but he doesn't like being misted even when the water is warm. Any suggestions?

Hey, i have a younger veiled too and he gets super angry when his shed is stuck. if you could take a wet q tip and lightly rub the stuck shed it may help it come off!
