chameleon poem.

[Mxstical]

I need a lot of air,

I need a lot of water and food,

I need care and support to lift me up,

I blend into how i’m feeling,

I turn dark when I’m sad and scared and turn lighter when i’m happy,

I examine the environment around me,

I hesitate when people reach out to me for help,

I dislike being hugged a lot,

But when you get to know me,

When you tame my bewildered soul,

I will accept you,

I will want to help you and climb all over you,

I will want to hug you and be there for you,

I will lighten up around you like you are for me,

I will love and help you,

I will make sure to give you love like you did to me.

I am a chameleon of mixed feelings,

Feelings I can’t understand.
