If anyone here lives near Pasadena, California and you don't already have plans, come out tonight to Eaton Canyon Nature Center to see me do a presentation on chameleons. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. To get directions, click here:

I thought I had another week to prepare but I was reminded last night that the presentation I'm supposed to do is TONIGHT! If you come, you'll get to witness me fumble my way through my first slideshow presentation. In the past I've only done show & tell types of presentations for K-12 students and impromptu presentations at reptile exhibits for the Society. But now I have to speak to adults and talk for at least 30 minutes. :)

Our family has been active in Southwestern Herpetologists Society for about 8 years and I'm currently the president of the Los Angeles Chapter. This is my third year in that position but I will be stepping down to concentrate my efforts on ChamEO. It has been too much work to do both and I really want to advance ChamEO to the next level.

If i had a day notice i would have been able to come out. Plus it started about ab hour and a half ago lol :(

WOW was that interesting.....................

I was there. I brought Steve, Marge and Lenny.

You guys missed a good show..... and I don't mean Elisa's...... (although her presentation was very good...... just too bad everyone couldn't fully appreciate it, un-interupted)

and yeah... a LOT of Dodger fans out tonight. we stopped at IN N OUT in Glendora and there were people all decked out in Dodger hats, shirts and flags. and thats like 20+ miles from LA hahaha.

Thank you both for showing up. I really appreciate your support. :) Just having another cham keeper in the room was comforting. It didn't go anything like I thought it would.

So how did it go, were you pleased?

Thanks Kevin fro representing the forum.

Hi Elisa,

i just couldn't make it, it was a little to far ;-)

How did it go?

Steven

Omygosh you are so funny!

You missed nothing except maybe a candid camera opportunity! I was barely able to complete one sentence without some type of loud exclamation or semi-relevant comment or something. I have had better audiences in elementary schools. :)
