You'd better have this bad mamma jamma done by the next time i come down! :D

Righteous!! I'm stuck with only two chams (wifeys decision). :( One day at a time. I'll break her down! :p I'll have my room!!

Hard work? That's why I'm going to win the lottery and just buy a house with extra rooms for Chams and Crocs.............:D Good job mate, hope it all carries on going to plan :)

John that is so nice. A perfect reptile room. I don't understand "stomp the ceiling" . i have helped with a lot of stuff from skylights, to removing popcorn - UGH, but I have never stomped a ceiling.

that is so amazing!

Thank you. We have put a bunch of time into this room. :)

Man, you have to listen to me. If you only listen to one thing i ever say...Listen to this one sentence and really dont laugh at it. Let your wife control this one thing.

Thank you laurie, DONT say skylights!! She wanted skylights, i cant lie, i wanted them too but i said no cause 1. more work 2. more work and number 3. the most important of all MORE WORK that has to potential to leak over a period of time lol. Stomping ceilings is easy if you have the right boots and empty your pockets :)

If you make sure the slant is correct, yes do it on a vaulted ceiling, and remember to use at least a dozen tubes of liquid nails to seal it with under the flanges it will never leak a drop. None of ours do and all three are in vaulted locations.

I hope she doesnt see this laurie! You make it sound easy haha!

We got the ceilings done today. Paint tomorrow and floors sunday! Pics coming :D

Besides chameleons, what other kind of animals are you going to house there? That is a huge room too!

The game plan is to tone our crew down to just a few species. From what we had last year to right now we have half the amount of animals and want to trim it down just a little bit more. We are aiming to just keep chameleons, beardies, a few different types of geckos, a couple frogs, salamanders and austrailian water dragons.

Room measures 12' wide by 38' long.

Could get a bunch of patho plants, and vines hang them from the ceiling... And you could do so much with this room!! Your so lucky! I wish I had it! I would make part for my Cham, would build big enclosures for my beardies, and I would get a pen for a Russian tort:) and so much more!

Ha add-ons and remodels are so much work, you really have to be motivated to get them done. It will definitely be worth it once it's all done though.
