Chameleon shedding problems?

I got my now 4 week old baby veiled cham less than a week ago , he started to shed 3 days ago and got the majority off in he first few hours , he next day he got almost all of it completely off. Now there is just a couple bits on, one on his forehead, one tiny bit on his side, and one just barely sticking to his foot, the thing is he's stopped trying to get it off , no more stretching or rubbing against things. I've been misting every hour or so with warm water, but it won't come off. He isn't comftorable enough with me to let him put him in the shower to get the steam, but I know I'm not supposed to pick off the remaining shed even if it looks like it's not really attached to the skin anymore. Mineral oil isn't really an option because he won't usually let me touch him. Any suggestions ?

Patience. If there's just a bit here and there, it'll come off on it's own with a little time.

Like Bob said above just have patience. My chameleon has taken up to a week to shed and other times he will get it all done in a day or two.

I agree with Bob as long as it's not rapped around his feet, or tail just give it time.

X2 on patience, maybe an extra long misting session and make sure the humidity is in right range.
