Chameleon Shopping Cart and Plan

Here is what I am planning on buying for a future chameleon.

Routines: Thoroughly hand spray in morning and night, activate mister at night to simulate nighttime fog, leave dripper on throughout the day, turn lights on in the morning and off at night, feed and dust feeders (maybe breed them. How should I go about doing that?), gut-load feeders, feed to chameleon (no bigger than head), let out in backyard for sunlight, introduce to handling early-on, clean floor panels.
And that's about it! What do you guys think? Please discuss and/or correct anything that you feel should be discussed and/or corrected.

You dust the feeders you’re going to feed your chameleon that day right before you feed them. Don’t handle too often- chams are like fish: look but don’t touch. Handling should only be with positive reinforcement like going outside or handfeeding. Set the MistKing up to mist throughout the day also. Make sure to have vines, and not all branches and vines have to be horizontal, just most. Get a timer for the lights, it’ll make it easier and more consistent. Make sure to gutload the feeders for at least a couple of hours before feeding them. Bsfl is a great feeder, too! Set up a drainage system

Male veiled, the same roaches that you mentioned as good in an earlier post (orange-headed, ivory-headed, dubia, green banana, and red runner, though it depends on what I can get my hands on), and I will do some research on gut-loading to see again which foods are best for it as I can't remember clearly... Something like cabbage, tomato without peel, egg and sweet-potato ring a bell but I also read a list of what NOT to gut-load with, so I may have mixed some of them up.

No tomato, not sure about egg. On the resources tab here under food and nutrition is a gutloading list. Good roach choices!

I was thinking an arcadia D3 6%, but I'm going to look around some stores hopefully and see what I can find. I haven't considered the specific brand of supplements, so that's yet another thing that I could benefit from advice on.

As long as it’s phosphorous free calcium without D3 every feeding, phosphorous free calcium with D3 twice monthly, and a multivitamin twice monthly, you’re good
