Chameleon Sick and needs help from someone

Hey Everyone,

I have a 3 year old blue bar ambilobe panther Chameleon. I unfortunately was one of those people who got him from a pet store. He has been very healthy for the past 3 years but 2 months ago he started to get black spots on one elbow. I started to give him more calcium thing MBD. His leg skin cracked and started to bleed and hasn't seemed to heal. I care for him but can't afford to take him to the vet because of the cost. My fiancés Mom is in Chemo and hasn't been able to work so we have been trying to support her so due to circumstances I am in a very tight spot.

I really want the best for Filbert and feel I can't due to my current circumstance, he needs a Doctor and an owner who can care for him. I am willing to drop him off to anyone who would be willing to take him and give him the care he needs. He is super friendly and loves being held and pet under the chin.

I am located in Ontario, am willing to drive him. Also wiling to provide his cage and everything required to care for him. I can even try to provide some money f care. Im in a really bad spot and it breaks my heart being in this helpless situation.

I dont think he can cross the US/Canadian boarder , but I could be wrong- but, I know someone who knows some one in Canada - I don't know if they can help you , but I will pass this to them -
I feel for you- cancer SUCKS ! I lost my sister 2 yrs ago, 3 days after my b-day, and then only a week after losing her, my husband was diagnosed with it - he is still with me, but it has been devastating on him - and the family

Are you in Ontario Canada or Ontario, California? There is a chameleon rescue in Woodlands Hills, California. If you are in Canada we will try to get something worked out. Please let me know ASAP. I will do my best to help you and your cham/
