Chameleon Sleeping

I have an 11 week old Veiled Chameleon. Usually he finds a pland to sleep on or around. Last night he slept on the screen top, is that normal. His color was light, like it usually is so I know he wasn't stressed. Is that normal for them? It just seemed weird because his body was upside down.

Thats funny cause sometimes my baby veiled likes to sleep vertically on the screen, it sometimes worries me so i put her on a branch or something. Sorry i didnt answer your question:D but im anxious to know if their is an answer.

I've seen my 5 month old panther sleep normal, face down (vertical), and face up (vertical). He'll often walk around on the top screen, but never slept there. However, I've noticed that mine goes to sleep almost immediately after lights-out. So maybe yours was walking around up there when the lights went out.

I am pretty relaxed about sleeping (that might be the only thing). I let them sleep where ever however they want.

I agree with Laurie, I think it’s perfectly normal for them to sleep upside down. I have had a few of mine do that as well.

Dont worry about it and dont mess with them when they sleep. They know what they are doing sleeping where they choose.
