Chameleon slept in puddle at bottom of cage

@Beman So good news, he is sleeping at the top of the cage I think the thing was is that I misted him with a little warmer water then usual to help with humidity and he must of not liked it so went down below but now he is all good. Also I bought a drainage try that fits my cage a 19 inch thank you guys so much.

I am glad you found a drainage tray. I may be incorrect but I don’t believe misting Jackson’s with warm water is a good idea. To my knowledge it should always be room temperature for all Chams. @JacksJill would be able to say if I am incorrect though. :)

While I wouldn't use warm water to mist, it wouldn't matter much. If it's a fine mist the temperature evens out either way. This wouldn't make a cham go to the bottom. Your night temps are a little warm and unless I read wrong 1 minute of misting a day is not enough. It is not* a good sign if your chameleon readily drinks every time you water. That means they are desperate. Your humidity at night could also use bumped up. This is a case that I think fogging could be beneficial throughout the night.
