It's a last ditch effort to stay alive and should not be purposefully put upon them. It's extremely stressful.

It's always better to let animals do what they are doing, they know where they want to go and why much better than we do.

wow. you can tell they are not born swimmers. I had a Chinese Water Dragon years ago. I would put him in bath tub every once and a while and he would fold legs to the rear and would slither around much like a snake. that Cham looks like he's trying to walk. Like that pool of water, would look nice in my backyard!

It does look stressful for him. And I myself would have picked him up if I saw it. But if it's at all, anywhere near mean as mine, I'd stay away haha

I thought it was so cute
