I can never tell with mine. Too many hiding spots, and once lights go out and it gets dark, there’s no finding him. But it may not be abnormal. If you are able to notice your chameleon moving, then I would assume it’s not dark in the area it’s sleeping and that could be causing it. Otherwise it could be adjustment due to temps dropping at night. I would suggest making sure it’s dark and your temps are adequate at night.Sometimes my chameleon will wake up to move to a different spot or to adjust how he’s sleeping and then go right back to sleep. Is that normal?
