wondering chameleon (veild) ?s

well I have got a new veild and he seems to want out of his cage I accident left it open (in a rush to get to fam dinner) and I came home and he was just chilling on my couch (little aggressive to go back in his cage) is it ok to let him wonder about I have no animals or anything that isn't caged and now he just roams his cage looking for openings to get out so I did a experiment and left it open all four time he decided to come out and wonder about so I was curious what would a experienced owner do

I don't what experience owners think, but I would concerned about cham poop on my furniture.

I would get some fake trees and branches anything safe for your Cham and make free range place for him with a basking light and maybe some painters plastic on the floor for easy clean up and let him out only when your there to keep an eye on him maybe put it in the living room when your watching tv

Give him some vines and a plant to chill on! Free range time is a great enrichment activity, just make sure he is safe. :)

Chams are usually not random poopers. They find a spot they like and can usually hit it with laser precision. At that point you can just put paper down to catch it. I only free range mine when I am home because have dogs but many people free range their chams 24/7. Look in the enclosure section under "free range" for info. My free range tree is a fake ficus that I zip tied vines and parrot ladders to. They love it and I think it makes them happier to have some free time.:)

Can confirm that!! My girl is determined to take her dumps in her feeding bowl no matter where I put it  Love her so much though! :D

That is the only way my veiled will come out of his cage is if I leave the door open :) Sounds like he wants a Free Range area. I agree... let him Free Range... my guys love it!!
