Chameleon weight???

Check out the thread posted yesterday "Should I be Concerned" it is all about the weight of veiled chameleons. It should answer your question. I think your chameleon looks great and has beautiful markings!

Thanks...sometimes we think he eats too much, he ll eat silkworms that are almost his size the crickets he is eating now are huge...can you over feed?

At this pointed I wouldnt worry too much about over feeding him,
hes still growing.
When hes older you should feed him only every other day, because they can become over weight and that leads to health problems.
And as for the crickets, you need to only feed him ones as big as the space between his eyes.
If you dont he might end up choking,
also the silk worms dont fall under the space between the eyes rule because they are a SOFT BODIED WORM, still almost his size sounds too big, try to get smaller ones, you have to use good judgement.

Oh, pshaw...he's beautiful! He's just in a weird position because a giant hand is in his face.

Bob is right up there at the top of my favorite pet names....go BOB!

thanks elizadolots....Bob as in Bob Marley.. ;o) Michael, what makes you say that?! we have a dripping system and spray him, but he doesnt seem to be a big fan of the water...how can you tell and how often do you spray/water yours?

Because The eyes are drawn back into the head. It doesn't matter which systems you have. Do you see your chameleon drink?

Automatic i spray 3 times 1 minute en one time with a handspray. The automatic sprays are more for the Humidity but than i see mine also drink.

@Michael...His urate looks normal (white), we spray him 3 times a day, mist the enclosure 2 to 3 times a day and have a dripper on all day. We don't usually see him drink but from what I read here in the forum, chameleons are "secret drinkers" and many owners don't usually see them drink.
