Hi I posted about this a few months ago but nothing has changed so I’m posting again

This is emmet, and he is about 1.5 years old. He’s as healthy as can be, but recently for that past few months he has been a weird muted yellow/pink color that is wayyyy different than his normal color. His temps are normal, his basking spot is about 78-83, cage temp sits about 70-75, nighttime temps are about 65-75 (depending on what our house is at.) He eats a mix of dubias and super worms with multivitamins and calcium. He’s active, a little lethargic but nothing to be worried about, especially cause it’s the middle of winter. The weird thing is he’s acting completely normal aside from his color. Anyone have any ideas? The first pic is him a few months ago and the second one is from today

I’m finding that this is a relatively normal thing for our colorful panther boys…they lose their vibrancy for a few months. I believe it has to do with their mating cycle. While it doesn’t happen to all of them, and it might not ever happen again to one, it can be a yearly occurrence. A few months back, one of my boys got very pale and while I have been aware of and experienced the fading, I believed his behavior had slowed down a bit too…decreased appetite and activity, not basking as much. Then just as quickly as his color had faded, it came back and he returned to his normal self. Immediately after, my other panther boy faded, but he’s retained his normal behaviors. Actually today I noticed his color has begun to return. Here’s my boys.
