helloooo,

could my veiled chameleon live with a ground dwelling frog? as that is the only pert of the tank that isnt used.

chris.

okie, i only really got the idea in my head as there is a huge space at the bottom that dosent get used.

thanks

Its not encouraged on here.

I still think it would be fun , if it were possible to keep everyone healthy and happy to build a little world in a cage.

....especially not with a tomato frog. They would glue your chams mouth shut with their secretion even if the Cham didn't eat.

Would be cool though. How about if the top screen cage with a wired mesh floor sat on top of an aquarium where you could keep the frogs. That way there would be no way for them to interact and it would still look like one enclosure?

Give it up! House your cham alone. They actually like to roam their environment and check it out. My male roams his habitat at least twice a day. The females not quite as much, but I have caught them everywhere within their cage.

When keeping pets your first thought would be to keep them safe. You have taken them out of their natural environment and put them into a captive status. Be a good keeper and get a proper safe environment for the frog.

God you're persistant mate...you can ask as many people on as many forums as you like, and none of them will think its a good idea...

thanks for the advice

After reading about someone who put a frog in with his chameleon, and found the chameleon eaten a few days later - I wouldn't advise it.
