He has shed before but he has never looked like that on his head, he is 3 months old

Hi!

How sure are you on that age? And...how sure are you on the gender?

I think it would be to your benefit to fill out the How To Ask for Help form.

Just copy the questions in that link, paste them into a reply and provide your info. Be as specific as possible. Names of supplements, makers of bulbs. "Fecal Description" means tell us what the poop looks like, not that it's "normal". I know it seems like it's unimportant, but in reality, it's very important. Not all supplements are the same and not all bulbs are the same and not everyone knows what "normal" really is.

where in his head is it white? lol looks normal too mee, i'm not expert but all the 'corners' sorry im stupid for words right now.. are white on my girl too.. & as for elizadots , post a picture of the back of his feet.. he might be a she :O

looks fine to me. the white on the edges of the casque seem normal and the slight grey to the skin is just shed. veileds shed like crazy on their heads as they grow. they might shed two or three times before a body shed. this all stops when the head is done growing. then it sheds in time with the body

Trust me its a male hes still a baby he is only 3 months old, I was just worried because when I first got him he didn't have the white around his caque now its turning white and I looks like he can't change colors in those areas, when he sleeps the white spots turn red, why is that

The head area turns greay/white/black over time..
all male veileds do it.

female veileds turn orange/red/brown on the head.

can you take a pic of the back feet?
even at 3 months his casque looks shorter than a males shoulod be.

they have PJ colors, if it is a male, then thats just what color his head turns at night.

Yea. I was just concerned because of the casque size...
but unless you have a hermaphradite, its a boy. lol
