Chameleons weight?

Has anyone measured there chams weight or kept track of there weight at all? My cham izzy (pictured below being weighed) at around 6 months is 64 grams...is that a proper weight for a cham? Please note the picture is the most recent pic and well he wasnt too happy about it. Of course I am being overly concerned about my cham as he has slowed his eating way down and his steady growth has well come to a hault but his weight has remained between 60-65 grams.

My cham is from the Kammers from the Mifidy offspring...I have only had good success from them and only great things to say about them as well as others.

They all grow at different rates but my amibilobes have weighed as much or more than 150 grams at adult age...if im remembering correctly. My females full grown would be around 60 grams or more. I'm going from memory since i dont have the paper i wrote it down on when i used to weigh them. Semms liek my sambavas were well over 200 grams.

The vet I use really advocates keeping a CLOSE eye on your cham's (or any small reptile's) weight. It's easy enough to do ... I just have a small gram scale that I picked up at the office supply store for less than 20 dollars. I try to get my cham onto it once a week or once every other week just to "check". My vet said that usually they'll begin loosing weight before many other outward symptoms appear, and if you get them in EARLY for potential problems you have a much better chance of pulling through. It's also nice to ease worrying minds when they stop eating. :) If Hermie stops eating but I know he's relatively holding his own weight (and pooping) I don't get too excited. After a while of doing this I got much better at eyeballing his weight and having a better "prediction feel" for it and don't have to put him on as often.

Thanks for the info...I have been keeping a close eye on his weight since the slow down in eating a week ago. He is still eating his cricks and is pooping so I am not overly worried. I think I keep writing this over and over again about just getting into his teenage stage now and is roaming his territory. He wont take to worms but as long as he is eating I am pretty happy. I just wanted to know if its normal for the weight to be that low or if its ok for a 6 month old. He hasn't lost any weight so I am pretty satisfied that nothing more is wrong with him. Right now I have nothing to compare him to. In a few weeks I am getting a Nosy from the Kammers 3-4 months old so that should be interesting. I hope this cham likes worms and other food then just cricks.

Oh and one other thing. In that pic above I have a gram scale where I place the sprayer on and I put Izzy on that...I zero out the scale with the sprayer on and then the cham to determine his weight....it works out well enough.

My ambilobe panther chameleon is now about 6 & a half months old and weighs 81g. (and is about 1ft long inc tail).
One month ago to when i weighed him this time, he weighed 55g.

My male and female Veiled, estimated around 5.5-6 months old weigh 41.5g and 34.5g. (The female might be 2 weeks younger than the male.)

Thanks Dave for the info...that gives me some sort of idea on what he should be or at least around....he has been a very picky eater and only likes his cricks. I mistakenly got 1/2 sized cricks the last time and he has been eating but he can surely go a size up. I weighed him today and he weighed in at 66g so he is gaining some weight but nothing spectacular and of course nothing I am forcing on him.

This Thursday I am getting my 3 month old Nosy be from the Kammers. I am going to keep a more accurate track of his weight and see what happens. Everything is almost ready to go. I need to get the plants tomorrow and set everything up for Thursdays arrival.
